Golf Society Packages 2026
Just a 10‑minute drive from Belfast city centre and close to main M1 and M2 routes, we're perfectly placed for golf societies travelling from across Northern Ireland.
Fortwilliam Golf Club is the only 18‑hole parkland course in North Belfast, nestled beneath Cavehill with stunning Lough views and we are proud to be one of the leading destinations for golf societies in Belfast and across Northern Ireland. Many visiting golfing societies return to us year after year - a reflection of the memorable experience we provide both on and off the course. Whether you’re organising a one-off society golf day or adding a new venue to your annual calendar, you’ll receive a warm welcome from the team at Fortwilliam.
Our society golf packages are designed to suit groups of all sizes. You can enjoy:
* A beautifully maintained 18-hole course with views from Cavehill to Belfast Lough
* Reserved access for society groups
* Post-round hospitality in either our main clubhouse or private Shaftesbury Room (with terrace and private bar)
* Custom catering packages before or after play (options on request)
* A fully stocked Pro Shop to pick up prizes or grab that last minute sleeve of extra balls!
* An invite to our Annual Golf Society Invitational to compete head to head with other societies in a team format.
Catering
Catering packages can be added before or after your golf (subject to food and beverage opening times), this must be prebooked. Menu will be a selection of Mains (Chicken Curry, Burger and Chips etc) and will be available in the pro shop prior to your round.
Annual Golf Society Competition Invite
Every Society that books before the end of July will be offered a FREE spot in our 2 person team competition at the end of the season, giving you the chance to win 3 x 4 Balls for your society in 2027 as well as individual prizes on the day.

Yes. We offer flexible catering options before or after golf depending on kitchen times, which can be tailored to suit your group and schedule.

Absolutely. Our course is welcoming and enjoyable for golfers of all standards, which is why many societies return year after year.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular dates can fill up quickly, particularly during peak season. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and tee times. Sundays are very popular!
Can we run competitions or prizes on the day?
Yes. We’re happy to help with competition setup and offer guidance on hole selection for closest to pin and longest drive to ensure the day runs smoothly.
